So, this is absolutely one of my all-time favorite parts of my profession. Each year I get the opportunity to go away for 4 days to an island with about 25 people who are all advancement professionals. We serve on a board together and work to offer training opportunities and experiences for our colleagues in our profession who reside in most of Canada and 7 of the western states. Seriously, this has to be one of the best places EVER! The accommodations are fabulous, the food is too amazing and the fun of being on an island LITERALLY (they deliver you by boat!) makes for a great time. Plus, I love the people on the board - they are hilarious!
I return middle of next week only to leave again. Back down to Boise...
Can't wait to be home long enough to throw a party together at our new home.
