there was a couple in Lewiston who just purchased a new home and who were incredibly tired of waiting for their new bedroom set to arrive....
in the case I somehow forget (not a chance!), please remind me to finish this story as we really don't know the outcome yet.

Hi Polly!
It's Wendy...I stumbled upon your blog...you know how that happens... and wanted to let you know or otherwise I'd feel sneaky. Big changes for you! Congratulations and God's Blessings.
About that bedroom set, Model Home Furnishings??? It's probably with our coffee table and ottomans! Seriously.
Ugh! We've been there. We purchased a deep purple sofa and loveseat from a major chain furniture store in Phoenix and waited and WAITED for them to deliver. Finally, the delivery truck arrived and the men carried in sapphire blue couches.
Me: Uh, I ordered purple couches.
Delivery man: Well what color are these? (as he stares at them).
Me: Well, I would say they are most definitely bright blue.
Delivery driver: Ohhhhh..... Uh, do you want to keep these?
Me: They are lovely, but they do not go with a thing in my house. I want the purple couches I ordered.
And so we put the old couches back in and waited some more. Gotta love color-blind delivery drivers.
Well, I know that outcome of this saga......and I am hoping for an even speedier (is that a word?) delivery than promised!
BTW.....I so enjoyed having you today.....thanks for a great day of crafting.....until next time )
Did they ever bring a more complete set to use until this one arrives?
Or are you just supposed to make do with cardboard....
well, there's a bit more to the saga already...we do have a borrowed set as of just recently because the set I ordered (in the picture) is now on backorder until Thanksgiving. UGH!
Wendy! Thanks for dropping in! You're always welcome here of course. I was just writing about how much I adore my new home and am just so thankful we got it from such special people. As you can see, your summer alysum has gone crazy! Sheldon loves to fertilize, so that may be a bit of it, but I give most credit to the girls that planted it. You all need to stop over and see if first-hand so your daughters know what a great job they did in helping you.
We would love to come by! We love our new house as well...I've been blogging about it also! We do miss our old neighborhood and neighbors! Everything you've done looks great...I love your dog, too! Blessings, blessings, blessings!
Polly, I hear great things about you at your new workplace! How's the adjustment going? What a rich, diverse, wonderful background you have to be able to bring to such a place of ministry - my hat is off to you.
